Bernard's folk-song arrangements for choir

Great folk-songs naturally lend themselves to arrangement for choral singing. These three arrangements were made in 2011 and are sung on the recordings by Bernard's family who sang the first two at a Northumbrian wedding. Bonny at morn is one of the most beautiful of all Northumbrian folk-songs, while the haunting Water of Tyne is, of course, a Tyneside/Geordie lament (Bernard also has a sumptuous eight-part version). Calon Lan is just a splendid and uplifting tune particularly beloved of Welsh rugby supporters. These recordings are for SSAB or SAAB choir, the forces available for those events.
